Busy..
Been busy for these few weeks, mostly about last minute assignments and lab reports. However my mind haven't stop thinking about this blog!
1stly, let me start with a few pictures of some lovely old cars.
This was taken from one of my friend's facebook picture. Look at the 2 lovely continental babies.
On the left, it's a beautiful BMW 3 series, E21, 1st ever bmw 3 series model, which is in production from 1975-1983. Take a good look at it, this is rare man, the signature nostrils of BMW were so small, compared to the huge nostrils in modern BMW cars. Single rounded Head lights shows that this car is either a 1.6L or a 1.8L. I guess this car is imported or something like that, because the plat number is rather new?
On the right, is of course, an Alfa Romeo! If I'm not wrong, this is a GTS, unfortunately, I couldn't find any complete information for this car. It's just enjoying to look at the car though, rounded headlights, with Alfa's signature grille... sweet!
Next, is this BMW 5 series. This the E12, which is similar to the E21 shown above, I mean the design. Only it's bigger, because it's a 5 series. This is also the 1st generation of 5 series, 1972-1981, by looking at the nostrils. Having a 525 batch in front, if you look carefully, if it's real, this will be a 1973 525i - 2.5 L I6. Damn I miss driving a BMW!!
This 2 weeks, I have test driven 2 perodua cars. Perodua Viva manual and Perodua Kancil auto. I have always wanted to test drive a Viva, because I admire the acceleration of the car. Viva is really good at acceleration, it feels light, and effortless to accelerate with it's light weight, and a good 3 cylinder engine, which was used to be fitted in a Kancil. The one I drove was the 850cc version. Overall, the car is easy to drive, clutch is light, gear shifts are effortless, and the feeling is not bad for a city car. The car was not bad to drive, however, I doubt the safety of the car, it feels thin, the doors are thin, and I'm not sure if the door can save the passenger from side impacts. Handling... not good as usual. Best thing is, it doesn't have a power steering, and it is really tiring to park the car... damn!
For the Kancil auto, it doesn't come with power steering too! But this really reminds me of the time we learn how to drive in our driving classes. I wasn't really happy when I know that it's an auto, but it turns out that Kancil Auto is not so bad afterall. I was given a chance to drive from Subang Jaya to Cheras and to Setapak on the peak hour. I mean something like traffic jam all the way on federal highway. At that moment, I was happy to drive an auto, and I'm even happy when the throttle respond of Kancil auto was not so bad. Acceleration was adequate if you press a certain amount of pedal! The car was small enough that you can get into tight spots easily. Overall, it was somehow enjoying.
Let me end the post by showing you this perfect parking by my friend's housemate. Girl's parking... hmmm...
^^! Bye.. got to busy now

Cheap, Ez And DiY
Nowadays everything is getting expensive even those who hope to just have a minor changes to their cars is having a fuss due to the increase in petrol this year.. so everybody !! Save up !!
So a week back.. Me Junyen and Daryl went to giant just to walk around and Daryl wanna buy those hooks to hang things in the car right at the back of the front sits.. We found a few of them and some were just so bloody CHEAP ! 2 hooks and a free pad just for Rm4.00.. Daryl and Junyen chose the colour they wanted but junyen had to take the PINK one cause that's the only one.. hahaha.. Daryl saw those circular lights that can be installed in the car.. and its quite bright too.. Daryl wanna make his car look more LALA said junyen.. hahaha.. Daryl bought one for rm15.00 and we went back home after that..
Do it Yourself we said.. and we installed the light to daryl's car.. At first, it was kinda confusing but what problem we guys can't solve?
There's the old one.. which it didn't give much light to the car though.. so IT must be CHANGED!

Tyre Rotation
Went and did my tyre rotation yesterday. After finding a few tyre shops in Semenyih, finally decided to let the goodyear dealer do it for me. It was located on the busy street of Semenyih beside BHP. He looks honest and did a great job.
Rotation + balancing + allignment = RM30
After doing rotation and balancing, this shows on the screen when he was doing allignment settings. From it, he told me that my front tyres are a little bit toe in... He set both tyres to zero toe, and job done!
Toe in, means both of my front wheels are pointing inwards. Toe out means the tyres are pointing outwards. Toe in usually eats up the outer side of tyres, that explains why my front tyres are 'botak' on the outer part! To have minimum tyre wear and power loss, it is best to have zero toe. However, Toe in usually provides stability on straight line, and toe out usualy improves turn in at a corner.
So great, let's see what happens to my not-so-used-up rear tyres which are now at the front...
Anyway, I'm back to PH!!

CNY days~
Been busy since I came back from Penang, gambling sessions, gatherings, and visitting relatives...
Relative's cute doggy... hyperactive dog... but my mum was scared of dogs, so, they put her on a sofa, which she didn't dare to jump down from the sofa... Look at her toungue!! Cute
Few gambling sessions held in Mok's house, a gathering at Cindy's place, and Jason's place last night. We all had fun, although some may lose money, and some may win, but it was in our own limit.
Outside Jason's house... pimped-up Myvi was the centre of attention...
Led's all over, powerful sound system, 205/40/17 tyres wrapped on expensive limited edition rims ( look at the difference of the front and rear rims.), and the white head lamps, which are switchable to yellow lights.
And there was a beautiful waja with white lights behind the Myvi, Alwyn's Jazz, and my Savvy in the picture, Daryl drove there too, with his recovered Saga lmst. It was a great night, and I reached home 4am, got scolded... and went to sleep immediately after my bath, felt so sick!
Today woke up at 2pm, and didn't feel good too, took another nap at 5pm-8pm... finnally felt better, and now I'm back to Semenyih, time to go back to the healthy lifestyle, and breathe the fresh air of jungle!
Check my tyre after I reached Semenyih... and saw this!
Left front tyre... the thread on the side of the tyre was almost 'botak'
Compare to my right rear tyre, it's almost new! Shocked! This could be dangerous, plan to do a tyre rotation anytime soon.
Time to sleep, good night!
